solubility of gas in liquid

Expert Answer
According to Henry's law the mole fraction of the gas in the solution is proportional to the partial pressure of the gas over the solution. The reason is greater the no of molecules of gas greater they can exert force on the wall in which they kept and greater the pressure produce.
