Moment of Inertia of central disc , Ic = (1/2) m r2
Moment of inertia Ip of each peripheral disc is determined by parallel axis theorem
Ip = (1/2) m r2 + m (2r)2 = (9/2) m r2
Total Moment of Inertia I = Ic + 6 Ip = (1/2) m r2 + 6 [ (9/2) m r2 ] = (55/2) m r2
