Initial velocity vi of car = 36 km/hr = 36 × (5/18) m/s = 10 m/s
Final velocity vf of car = 72 km/hr = 72 × (5/18) m/s = 20 m/s
if the wheel radius is R =25 cm ,
then inital angular velocity of rotation of wheel, ωi = vi / R = (10 / 0.25) rad/s = 40 rad/s
Final angular velocity of rotation of wheel, ωf = vf / R = (20 / 0.25) rad/s = 80 rad/s
if angular velocity changes in 10 s , then angular acceleration α is
Angular displacement θ in 10 s is calculated from the equation of motion " θ = ωi t + (1/2) α t2 "
Number n of revolution is
n = 600 / (2π ) = 95.5
