Expert Answer
An electromagnetic wave is a transverse wave which comprises of both an electric and a magnetic component. Light waves are created by vibrating electrical charges. The transverse wave of light is such that light particles move in a direction which is perpendicular to the direction of the wave movement.
electromagentic wave both the electric and the magnetic fiels are perpendicular to the direction of wave propogation thatis electromangetic waves are transverse in nature.
