Dear Student,

H2SO4 and HNO3 both are strong acids.

HSO4 is a conjugate base of H2SO4 acid.

HNO3 is a conjugate base of HNO3 acid.

Between H2SO and HNO3 acids,  H2SO4  is stronger. Hence, when these two acids are mixed, the below reaction takes place.

H2SO + HNO3 →   HSO4 + NO2  + H2O
In the above reaction,
H2SO4 acts as acid and HNO3 acts as base.
Therefore, HSO4 is conjugate base of H2SO4.
And NO2 is conjugate acid of HNO3.
