my last question was--which one is more metallic, beryllium or gallium? you answered beryllium as gallium is a metalloid. but in most of the periodic tables which i have seen in many books, gallium is not counted as a metalloid. i was guessing that gallium is more metallic in nature.reason-gallium lies in 4th period and beryllium in 2nd period.so,in gallium the electrons are far away from nucleus. they can be removed easily due to less attraction force between nucleus and electron.so its electropositivity increases and hence its metallic nature.am i correct.why or why not??
