Let Laxman's expenditure be x

If Laxman's savings is 10% more than his expenditure , then his savings = 1.1x

Laxman's income = savings + expenditure = 1.1 x + x = 2.1 x

---------------------------

Let Bhuwan;s savings be y .

If Bhuwan's expenditure is 10% more than his savings , then his expenditure = 1.1y

Bhuwan's income = savings + expenditure = y + 1.1 y = 2.1 y

------------------------------------------------------

If laxman's savings is 10% more than Bhuwan's expenditure , then

1.1 x = 1.1 × ( 1.1 y ) = 1.21 y

x/y = 1.1

-------------------------------------------

Ratio of Laxman's income to Bhuwan;s income = ( 2.1 x ) / ( 2.1 y ) = x / y = 1.1
