Is aster and spindle fibre the same thing?

Spindle fibre is a single filament coming from the poles to the centre. Aster is also a single filament but the difference is the location of the aster. It is present outside of the centrioles forming a star shaped structure called as aster.
Spindle Fibres
Aster
It remains attached to the chrmosome
It is not attached to the chromosome
The fibre runs in between two daughter centrioles
Fibres originate friom the centriole forming a star shaped structure called as aster
