in part 1 a student ask a question that can we hear the sound of explosion on held on moon to earth.the answer is no because no air.my question is why cant we hear the explosion held in mumbai to jalgaon?

the sound of explosion is absorbed by the obstructions present around ther site.so due to friction the intensity dies out.
