In a schoo the number of students are 150 out of 150 students .If the girls are 50 more than boys form a linear equation for this data and draw the graph .
For this graph find the number of boys and number of girls

Let x and y be the number of girls and boys respectively.
Therefore, x + y = 150
Also, x = y + 50
i.e. x - y = 50
The graph of these equations is

As the two lines intersect at (100, 50).
So, the number of girls is 100 and number of boys is 50.
