Equation is  2 x + 3 y = 6

Let us substitute values for x such as x = 0,1 and 2 and get the respective values of y .

Let the values of x and corresponding values of y are tabulated below

x 0 1 2
y 2 1.333 0.666

The line intersects y-axis at (0,2) and intersects x-axis at ( 3, 0 )
