CBSE Class 10 Answered
if sin3A=COS[A-26] WHERE 2A IS AN ACUTE ANGLES FIND THE VALUE OF A.
Asked by ABHILASHA | 15 Jan, 2019, 03:05: PM
If 2A is acute angle, let us assume 3A > 90° and let 3A = 90+θ
we have sin(90+θ) = cosθ .................(1)
given eqn.:- sin(3A) = cos(A-26)..........(2)
by comparing eqn.(1) and (2), we get, θ = ( A - 26 ) and 3A = 90+θ
hence 3A = 90+θ = 90+(A-26) = 64+A or 2A = 64 or A = 32
