If Hydrogen is highly imflammable, then that means water should catch fire because oxygen is also present in that than why it extinguishes fire

Expert Answer:

Water is made up of two elements oxygen and hydrogen.
Hydrogen is highly inflammable but oxygen is not.
When hydrogen combines with oxygen the result compound is water, which has entirely different properties.
We cannot burn water hence it is used to put out fires.
