f(x) = x2 -x -k
if α and β are the zeroes of f(x), then we have,
α+β = 1 ..................(1)
αβ = -k ......................(2)
Given : α - β = 9 ........................(3)
By solving eqn.(1) and eqn.(3), we have α = 5 and β = -4
Hence from (2), we get k = 20
