If a and 1/a are the zeros of the polynomial
,find the value of "k".

f(x) = 4x2 -2x+(k-4) = 0
f(a) = 4a2 -2a +(k-4) = 0 ...............(1)
f(1/a) = ( 4/a2) - (2/a) + (k-4) = 0 ...............(2)
By equating (1) and (2), 4a2 -2a = ( 4/a2) - (2/a) or 4a2 -2a -( 4/a2) + (2/a) = 0 or 2a4 -a3 +a2 -2 = 0 ..............(3)
eqn.(3) has solution a =1. If we substitute a=1 in eqn.(1), we get k =2
