Expert Answer
Dear Archit,
Most of the heat is caused by nuclear fusion. To describe it better: The convection in the core (caused by nuclear fusion) creates a powerful, and unstable, Magnetic Field. It is the emissions of this unstable magnetic field that produce Light, and most of the magnetic spectrum. And these emissions, in their various wavelengths, produce the remaining heat energy, as observed from Earth.
Hope this helps.
