Crystalline solids are classified as molecular solids , ionic solids, metallic solids , covalent or network solids. Examples: Molecular solids - I2,dry ice(solid CO2).
ionic solids like NaCl Metalic Solids like Ag,Au ,Cu etc.
Covalent or network solids like quartz.SiC, diamond etc .
