Expert Answer
Primary cells cannot be recharged whereas Secondary cells can be recharged. In Primary cells once the electrolyte is used up the reaction ceases to occur whereas in a secondary cell the reaction taking place in the cell can be reversed by making it an electrolytic cell.
Primary cell includes Mercury Cell, Secondary cell includes Lead storage battery.
