Cardiac muscle is highly organized and bears striking similarities to skeletal muscle in terms of its basic morphology. For instance, both types of muscle are composed of individual muscle fibers, which contain numerous, alternating thick and thin contractile filaments, which give each cell type its distinctive striated appearance.
However, functionally cardiac muscles are resemble unstriped muscles as both of them are involuntary muscles. Both of them have the function of contraction and relaxation.
So, the correct answer is option A.
