Let the co-ordinates of the foot of the perpendicular drawn from the origin to the plane 2x – 3y + 6z + 7 = 0 is (x1, y1, z1).
Now, the equation in the normal form is:

Substituting these in the equation of the plane, we get

Hence, the foot of the perpendicular is
