Near point  = 25cm for a normal eye.
Far point  = infinity for a normal eye.

Short sightedness is the defect of the eye due to which a person can see clearly the objects lying at short distances from it but cannot see far off objects.The near point does not vary but the far point becomes less than infinity rather to a few metres in a myopic eye.
