(i) In Centesimal measure:
100 Grade = 90o;
1 minute = 100 seconds;
and 1 Grade = 100 minutes
Hence 45o = 50 grades
20' = 0.2 grades
and 10'' = 0.001 grades
So, 45o20'10'' = 50 + 0.2 + 0.001 = 50.201 grades.
(ii) Also, the relation between Grade (G), Degree (D) and radian (C) is as follows:
D/180 = G/200 = C
=> In radians;
45o20'10'' = 50.201 grades = 50.201/200 radians= 0.251 radians
