Dear Student

There is a slight bend in fan blqades.  Because of the bend, blade pushes the air depends on blade moving direction.

If  you want to fee it,  Take a writing pad into your hand streach your hand away from dody and tilt the pad approximately 450 to horizontal plane. try to move  your hand (as if you are asking for lift) fastly. You will feel force in one direction when you are moving your hand in upward direction and the force will be in oppositr direction when movind the hand down.

The blades work like aeroplane wings. They create a pressure difference between the two sides as they move through the air, In an aeroplane this makes the plane go up, because the fan blades are fixed the pressure difference makes the air move relative to the blades.
