Equation for position time relation

Expert Answer
If the motion is with uniform speed u , then
 
x = xo + ( u × t )
 
where x is position at time t , xo is initial position at t = 0  and u is unofrm speed
 
If the motion is accelerated motion with uniform acceleration a , then
 
x = xo + ( uo × t ) + [ (1/2) a t2 ]
 
where uo is initial speed at time t = 0 and a is acceleration
