CBSE Class 10 Answered
Does double circulation take place in reptiles ?
Asked by Trisha Gupta | 25 Jun, 2021, 08:26: PM
Double circulation is incomplete in amphibians and reptiles. Unlike in birds and mammals, in amphibians and reptiles, the left atrium receives oxygenated blood and the right atrium receives deoxygenated blood. Blood from both these chambers mixes in a single chamber and results in incomplete circulation.
