Differences between insulin  and thyroxine:

Insulin

Thyroxine

  • It is secreted by the pancreas.
  • It is secreted by the thyroid gland.
  • It regulates the blood glucose (sugar) level.
  • It regulates carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism.
  • Deficiency of insulin causes diabetes mellitus.
  • Deficiency of thyroxine causes goiter.
