Colour Code followed to get the resistance value of resistors is given below
 
First colour code is first digit of resistance value

Second  colour code is second digit of resistance value
 
Third colour code is multiplier 10n , where n is number corresponds to third colour code
 
Fourth colur code is tolerence as listed below
 
Brown = ± 1 %   
 
Red = ± 2 %
 
Gold = ± 5 %
 
Silver = ± 10 %
