u = -15 cm
focal length for convex mirror, f = + 10 cm

By mirror formula,

1 over v plus 1 over u equals 1 over f
fraction numerator 1 over denominator plus 10 end fraction equals space 1 over v plus fraction numerator 1 over denominator negative 15 end fraction
1 over v equals space 1 over 10 plus 1 over 15
1 over v equals space 25 over 150
v space equals space 150 over 25
v space equals space plus space 6 space c m space

Image formed by the plane mirror is at same distance as that of object.
Thus, if for plane mirror, object is placed at 15 cm then image will also be formed at 15 cm behind the mirror.
