In endosmosis, water enters into the cell whereas in exosmosis, water goes out of the cell.
Endosmosis occurs when the cell is placed in a hypotonic solution. Exosmosis occurs when the cell is placed in a hypertonic solution.
In endosmosis, the cell swells whereas the cell shrinks due to exosmosis.
