cone
straight r space equals space 3 cm
straight h space equals space 4 cm
straight l equals square root of 4 squared plus 3 squared end root equals 5 cm

cylinder
straight H space equals space 15 minus 4 space equals space 11 space cm
straight R equals space 2 cm

The space total space surface space area space of space cone space equals space straight pi rl plus straight pi straight r squared
Now space area space painted space green space equals space The space total space surface space area space of space cone space space minus space area space of space one space cylindrical space base
equals straight pi rl plus straight pi straight r squared space minus space straight pi straight R squared
equals 62.8 cm squared

Also comma
The space total space surface space area space of space cylinder space equals space straight pi straight R squared straight H plus 2 straight pi straight R squared
Now space area space painted space blue space equals space The space total space surface space area space of space cylinder space space minus space area space of space one space cylindrical space base
equals straight pi straight R squared straight H plus straight pi straight R squared
equals 150.72 cm squared
