If a sphere of 0.1 cm is charged to potential 300 V .

Potential V on the surface of charged sphere is

where K = 1/(4πεo) = 9 × 109 N m2 C-2 is Coulomb's constant.

Hence charge on the sphere is

Intensity of Electric field is electrostatic force per unit charge.

Hence we can consider force per unit area as Electric field E divided by surface area of sphere 4πR2 .
