A rod of iron and length 1 m fixed at one end is rotating with angular velocity 200 rad/s about the fixed end in a magnetic field of 0.2 T. Find the induced emf between the centre and far end of the road.

EMF E developed across the end of rod of length L , if it moves with velocity v in magnetic field flux density B is given as
E = ( v B L )
In the given case , rod of length L is rotated in magnetic field .
Hence EMF developed across the rod is given as
