A motor board in loktak lake starting from rest, accelerates along a straight path at a uniform rate of2.0ms(power -2) For 10.0s.How far does the boat travel during this time?

The formula to be used to get distance S = ut+(1/2)at2 , where u is initial speed, in this case since starting from rest it is zero.
Acceleration is denoted by a and t is time.
Hence distance travelled = (1/2)×2×102 = 100 m
