ICSE Class 10 Answered
A light mass and heavy mass have equal momentum. Which will have more kinetic energy?

Kinetic energy K = (1/2)mv2 = [ 1/(2m) ] (mv)2 = p2 /(2m) ...................(1)
where p = mv = mass×velocity = momentum
Both the mass has equal momentum. Hence as per eqn.(1), lighter mass has more kinetic energy
