CBSE Class 10 Answered
A concave mirror produces three times magnified (enlarged) real image of an object placed at 10cm in front of it . Where is the image located?

m = - 3 (real and enlarged image)
u = -10 cm
v = ?
Linear magnification for spherical mirrors,
m = -v/u
-3= -v/ (-10)
-3 = v/10
v = - 30 cm
Thus, image is formed at 30 cm to the left side of concave mirror.
