A car increases it’s speed from 36km/h to 54km/h in 2s Find Distance travelled by the car

Initial speed u = 36 km/hr = 36 × ( 5 / 18 ) = 10 m/s
Final speed v = 54 km/hr = 54 × ( 5 / 18 ) = 15 m/s
acceleration a = ( v - u ) / t = ( 15 - 10 ) / 2 = 2.5 m/s2
Distance S travelled is determined from " S = u t + (1/2) a t2 "
S = ( 10 × 2 ) + (1/2) × 2.5 × 4 = 25 m
