A body travels uniformly a displacement of(8+- 0.2)m in a time (4.0+-0.1)s. Calculateits velocity with error limits.What is percentage error in velocity

displacement = 8 ± 0.2 m
relative error in displacement  = (0.2/8)×100 = 2.5%
 
time = 4 ± 0.1 s
relative error in time = (0.1/4)×100 = 2.5%
 
hence relative error in velocity = 5% ;    hence velocity = (8/4) ± 5% relative error  
 
velocity = 2 ± 0.1 m/s
