why does acidic nature of hydrides increase  along the group from top to bottom and along the period from left to right? what is oxyacid? what is protic and non protic solvent and how to identify them and state its characteristics? why is basicity of boric acid 1 ?

As we move down the group, the atomic size increases which leads to the increase in bond length.
Due to the increase in bond length it becomes easy to lose electrons,which increases the acidic character.
