Since distance between earth and moon is larger than diameter of moon, let's consider the diameter as arc (l)
so,
l=rθ
l=2Rm
r=60Re=378000
straight theta equals 16 apostrophe equals 16 cross times fraction numerator straight pi over denominator 60 cross times 180 end fraction
2 Rm equals 378000 cross times 16 cross times fraction numerator straight pi over denominator 60 cross times 180 end fraction
Rm equals 378000 cross times 16 cross times fraction numerator straight pi over denominator 60 cross times 180 cross times 2 end fraction
Rm equals 879.64 space km
