prove that the median bisecting the hypotenuse of a right angled triangle is half of the hypotenuse Expert Answer Let ΔABC be right angled triangle and B is right angle. Let us draw a circucm circle for the ΔABC.
Let us draw the median OB so that AO = OC . AC is diameter of circumcircle and also AC is hypotenuse of ΔABC .

OA , OB and OC are radii of the circle .

OB = OA = (1/2) AC

Hence median of right angled triangle that bisects the hypotenuse is half of hypotenuse
