Answer :- Velocity of centre of mass will vary, if the net external force acting on the system of particles is zero
(a) Momentum of the system will not vary .
If it varies , velocity will vary for constant mass. This is not possible without external force
(b) Kinetic energy of the system will not vary .
If it varies , velocity will vary for constant mass. This is not possible without external force
(d) Position of centre of mass will not vary in absence of external forces.
