Plants which are pollinated by different animals such as insects, bats, birds, snails and snakes have certain adaptive features which enable easy pollination.
These adaptations vary depending on the agent for pollination. For example,
Plants which are pollinated by insects have showy or brightly coloured flowers producing either a foul or a pleasant smell to attract insects for pollination.
Similarly, flowers pollinated by birds secrete excessive watery nectar or have edible parts which attract birds for pollination.
