My question is :- "Although the colours reflected by the water droplets (of the rain) are in a straight direction, the rainbow formed is of a arc shape". Explain the shape of a rainbow.

Each point on the rainbow consists of tiny droplets that reflects light at 42o , hence each light ray coming from rainbow
subtends 42o at eye with horizontal.
 
The droplets that satisfy the condition of subtending 42o angle at eye are in circular form as shown in figure.
Hence we see rainbow in arc of circle

Plssss answer..... Assertion: Magnetic field lines never intersect each other. Reason: If they intersect, then at the point of intersection, the compass needle would point towards two directions, which is not possible.
