Kirchoff's current law
The total current entering a junction or a node is equal to the toal current leaving the node .
In above figure some currents are entering junction-A and some currents are leaving junction-A.
Total current entering junction-A = I1 + I3 + I5
Total current leaving junction-A = I2 + I4
By Kirchoff's current rule , I1 + I3 + I5 = I2 + I4

Kirchoff's voltage law
The voltage around a loop equals the sum of every voltage drop in the same loop for any closed network and equals zero.
In the above closed loop circuit ABCD , let us find the sum of voltages by going through clockwise starting from A . We get
