This is a case of Mendelian deviation and inheritance which shows incomplete dominance as both red and white colour traits are not expressed and produce pink trait in the F1 generation. Incomplete dominance is a phenomenon in which the F1 hybrid exhibits characters intermediate of the parental genes.
