JEE Class main Answered
If we apply force to move block of mass M such that it move with constant velocity , we know F=MA here A=0 so force =0 but we are applying force to push the block so how to understand it

Expert Answer
Same concept you considered for pulling the object is also applicable for pushing the object.
We consider a slight push moves the object due to impulse.
If friction is absent, object will move with constant speed without any acceleration.
If friction is there, then resistive friction force will reduce the speed of object.
If equivalent force is provided to counter the friction so that net force is zero, then object moves
with constant speed without acceleration
