how can we identtify lens without touching it

Let us keep the lens over a page of the book and try to see the writings on the book. If we get magnified image then the lens is convex lens and if we get diminished image it is concave lens. This is due to the fact that when object is placed within the focal length of convex lens it gives a magnified image. But concave lens always gives diminished image

Plssss answer..... Assertion: Magnetic field lines never intersect each other. Reason: If they intersect, then at the point of intersection, the compass needle would point towards two directions, which is not possible.
