Differnces between conatct and non-contact force in point fast.

Forces which come into play when two objects do not have any physical contact between them are called non-contact forces. The most familiar example of non-contact force is weight, which is the force exerted on an object in gravitational field due to earth or any other planet or any celestial object like moon.
Other examples for non-contact forces are :- magnetic force, electrostatic force.
In contrast a contact force is a force applied to a body by another body that in contact with it. Pushing a car up a hill or kicking a ball or pushing a desk across room are some of the every day examples where contact forces are at work.
The Various types of Contact Forces are :
- Applied force.
- Frictional force.
- Air resistance force.
- Spring force.
- Tension force.
- Normal force.
