Difference between : Asteroids, Planets and comets

Asteroids:They are large pieces of rock or rock and metal.
They are pieces of a much larger planet which broke due to gravitational pull of Jupiter.
They have orbits between those of Mars and Jupiter.
Comets: They are made more of ice.
They are in the outer solar system.
Planets: The planets look like stars, but they do not have light of their own. All planets have their own composition.
They have definite paths called orbits in which they revolve around the sun in the solar system.
