1.  Watch your Thoughts

Mahatma Gandhi believed that a man is but the product of his thoughts; what he thinks, he becomes. Think positive; do not let negative thoughts dominate your mind. If we keep thinking about failures, then success will be a distant reality. Think about success and you are already there.

2.  Never Give Up

Mahatma Gandhi was one of the freedom fighters who never gave up on the British rule. He fought till the end and made India a proud and free nation. Never give up on your dreams. Be persistent and face every problem with a brave soul.

3.  Be the Change you Want

Mahatma Gandhi said,  “Be the change you want to see in the world.” Well, we all crib about things which are not right in our lives and around us. We blame every possible person, government or organisation. However, we seldom do our bit. It is first important to change yourself and then expect a change in others.

4. Forgive People

Mahatma Gandhi believed that only strong people can forgive and forget. Gandhi said, "An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind." So, believe in the power of forgiveness; it will help you grow as a person and bring peace.

5. Consistency

Consistency is important. Mahatma Gandhi knew this really well. His consistency, hardwork and sheer dedication made him excel in everything he did. Be consistent in whatever you do. It is a virtue of successful people.
